Need some help to remove this unsightly object!

I need to remove this/and the same at the bottom:

Ok admin helped me remove that all it was, delete a
.

But now i have 2 more questions

1: How do you change the background color of the Watch | Upload | Share boxes?

2: How do you change the color around the video thumbs?

Anyone already done these or have any idea?

I changed the background color in mine in the CSS. I just changed every instance of the original color in the CSS with my custom color...and there were several places. Not sure which one of the classes is specific to your question but I hope my suggestion helps.
