Cannot upgrade to 2.5

I have been able to do every upgrade until now. I am not able to ftp the 2.5 files. It starts uploading for a few minutes then it freezes. Then I cannot upload for about 15 minutes. The website does not work for 15 minutes either. At that point the thumbs of the videos are on the site but cannot play a video. I then have to upload 2.3 and then 2.4 to get back to that point. If I try to upload 2.5 it does the same thing over again. I have downloaded 2.5 from this site several times to make sure I did not get a bad copy. Can someone help me.

You need to check the convert command will work on your server.

If you use vshare 2.5 upgrade package, there is no change in convert command, but if you use full version of vshare 2.5, convert command is for latest version of mencoder, that is different from older version of mencoder.

Check templates_c/debug.txt file and see if the convert command works on your server.

Yes I use hostonnet so I was sure everything was there.

We have upgraded may sites to vshare 2.5 with out any problem.

We provide vshare upgrade for $5, mail us at install@hostonnet.com if you need upgrade.
