Is it me or is it kinda weird that hostonnet.com can not register a .tv domain when advertising a vshare script?
.tv domains are sucky anyway.
The charges from the Dot tv people have always been alarming. They are actually trying to push a whole hosting/service/domainname business with that url. It may seem charming to have this but I believe they still charge 10 percent more each year on your domain. That can be a bundle if you use it for a long time and they will just yank it if you do not pay.
I am not sure what kind of deal you have to do to resell their domains but it is probably not suitable for business.
Since NO ONE types in .tv naturally for a domain, and you have to market yourself anyway, choose something you can get reasonably. (Germany is the largest to take to .tv domains - the rest sort of ignore to they can be taught to type it in if they know of you already).
No one can register a .tv domain, because a company bought nearly all .tv domains to make big money with it.Quote:
