Thank you, i will ask again if problem persist,
I already updated the youtube.php and still it is not working, it is still indicate, "add to querie"
Once added you need to run cron.php or make it run from your servers cron tab. If you have a cron job set up to run cron.php, it runs twice for each file - once to download it and once to convert it. So you have to wait at least twice as long as you've got cron.php scheduled to run.
This is working for me.
The files were uploaded in binary mode as usual. I have a cron job set for every 5 minutes as before. The import function is working very partially now.
It says "download started" and the video never gets downloaded. (even after waiting for several hours).
What should I do?
Please help, Admin !!!
Crying for help......
Send a mail to [email protected] with vShare admin login details.
We will check and let you know shorlty.
Dear Admin
After a long time of successfully downloading the youtube videos, the bulk import has stopped importing again.
I mean it used to work very well until for last few days. Probably, Youtube has changed its codes and its time to change your script codes now.
The videos are stuck in "downloading now" situation.
I hope I am clear about the problem at the moment.
Please help ASAP.
Thanks
Dear Admin
Further information about the problem as posted earlier is that I tried to run cron.php in the browser and it came up with the following error:
This is happening with all files I am trying to import. There was no problem like this, at all, until for last 2-3 days. I always successfully imported files. Just not working now.Quote:
cronjob started
failed to find youtube video url.
please note that the server is the same and no problems at all.
Same problem is happening with another vshare site of mine. This means that it is a problem with the script.
Please note that I am using the latest script and not the old one.
I hope that it will help further to find a solution for the problem.
Please help ASAP if you can !
Thanks
I already posted this problem in bug reports, follow up there..

Dear Admin or other valuable members
If anyone can solve this problem where the server is unable to fetch youtube videos (as download and not as embed) into the vshare site, I will pay $100-00.
Thanks
The problem is youtube blacklisted IP address ranges used by web hosting. So when script try to access video page, youtube show a captcha page instead of normal video page.
Youtube video download sites like KeepVid: Download and save any video from Youtube, Dailymotion, Metacafe, iFilm and more! stopped working.
One solution is using a proxy server, but getting working proxy server is not easy and youtube can ban proxy servers too. So even with proxy, there is no guarantee.
I am happy to pay $100-00 for the person who will make the bulk import (download) from youtube, possible again.
Thanks
KeepVid and SaveVid are working for me...
Also, other video script are working fine with this feature, why vshare not?
keepvid shows captch, you need to enter that to get download link. In case of vshare build import, it is not practical as it is automated download. If videos are downloaded one by one, entering captcha text each time, it can be done, but that is not easy for a video site.
@ramius, PM me which other script can do the youtube video download, not just embed, that works fine with vshare.
savevid is what I use because they DON'T have the annoying captcha. Try them. I just breezed through downloading all my videos I have on YouTube because I'm going to take them elsewhere. They pissed me off when they disabled one of my karaoke videos because someone claimed copyright infringement. I'll take my toys and play somewhere else then. savevid.com was awesome for taking the download of my videos. At first I was going to use KeepVid but the captcha thing was tedious. I won't be using them anymore.
If I have version 2.7 do I need to download the youtube fix? Also I notice if I delete a video and want to reuplaod it from youtube its still sayin Already Imported. There is nothing in cache folder. How can I solve this?
Bump
I know this is an old post but anybody?
Man thats fouled up how nobody wanna help me man. Its ok I'll figure it out I always do.
It might not be so much a matter of no one wanting to help you, it may be that no one knows the answer.
One thing to try is check the database for the imported video. It might need to be manually deleted from the database?
There is only a manual fix for this now. You need to delete the video (youtube video unique id) from table import_track. Even you can empty the table, in that case, all imported video will be available for re-import. If you don't know how to remove, we can do it for you. You will need to provide video you need to reimport.
I din't know anyone responded to this, but thanks for the info. I'll keep this in mind for future reference I found other copys of the videos I deleted and re uploaded them that way. But late thanks! :cool
vshare should integrate this.
thanks for the quick change
This works for me. Check you path to php in admin panel.
It looks like youtube has changed the code yet again. Will this ever be fixed again for V share 2.8?
