Uploaded in Binary still not working

Hi All

I uploaded everything in binary mode and tried to install the script using the installer but i still get the errors

Fatal error: Unable to read 2684 bytes in /home/rustinut/public_html/index.php on line 0

and i also get it when i get past adding my database details too on this page

install/create_tables.php

Fatal error: Unable to read 41594 bytes in /home/rustinut/public_html/include/function.php on line 0

I am using cute ftp and uploading in binary mode .. thought it was a problem with cuteftp so i downloaded the free filezilla client and still no joy ....

frustrated

please help!!!
