Default vShare 2.6 Youtube Import Fix

Recently youtube.com made some changes, this caused youtube video import feature in admin area to stop working.

We where able to find a fix for the problem this time, but its up to youtube if they really need to block such direct access to their files, may be in the future, youtube may decide not to allow any one to download FLV files directly.

For now, to fix the problem, download

    http://www.buyscripts.in/vshare/2.6_fix_youtube.zip

Unzip and upload to your server in BINARY mode. This include few new features like multi import in admin area and few bug fixes.

    Hi admin!
I upload the patch in Binary mode and I can import one video from youtube without problem, but...
I try to import 5 more videos and I have errors like:
    Download Error http://www.youtube.com/get_video.php?vi ... qVaik&.flv
I don't know why, but the Youtube import tools seems like don't work fine that all...
Also, I try to import a Dailymotion video and don't work :(

Dailymotion seem to have just reconfigured their site and the import feature is ineffective right now.
Youtube is not great but I can work around it when needed by inserting the flv filename into the processqueue table.

I only get my smaller vids converted - say about 2 megs - anything above that the process queue just says 'downloading' forever.
If that's what you get, then just go to the vid folder in ftp (the one that gets the download) copy the name of the file and pop it into the process_queue table in phpmyadmin - then change status to 2 (once you're sure its all downloaded of course).

When the cron runs next it'll convert.
It's fast once you get used to it and its a quick workaround
Another workaround which is messier is to paste in just the link from the embed code to a browser - when its returned the file name is changed - then you change all of the swf/swf? crap to 'get_video' and plug that into the file name in process queue phpmyadmin.
same result cause you're using utubes own code to do it.
