Microsoft Silverlight 2.0 support
I would like to see support added for Microsoft's Silverlight 1.0 or better.
For example, during setup, there sould be an option to select either Adobe's Flash or Micorosft's Silverlight as the way to present videos on vShare.
Is this at all possible.
Re: Microsoft Silverlight 2.0 support
This is definitely possible, however you need to update to the latest version of JW Media Player.
(Right-click your player when watching a video and on top of the "About" should be a link to the JW player site.)
Upgrading to the latest player v4.0 will require you to pay a commercial license, but it is cheap (20 Euros) and supports Microsoft SilverLight as well as RTMP and MMS streaming, among other things. Once you have the new player you just need to find a server solution that can convert your FLV or whatever video format to Microsoft Silverlight. Don't know much about this but should be able to find something by searching for "Silverlight Video conversion" or the like...
You can also get the Silverlight-only version of JW Media Player for free here:
