Importing Videos from Import Folder: I figured it out.

Ok, I'm totally confused. I want to import a video and apply it to a user, the video is in the templates_c/import folder.

How do I get this to work? There's something about CronJob that I totally don't "get" but I'll go thru the forums again to see what I missed (there's a few posts about it and I'm confused now).

I found viewtopic.php?t=826 that tells you the CronJob settings, now what do I change in admin panel, do I set this for "batch processing" or can I leave it at "realtime processing"?

I click "import folder" and choose the video in the list that's in the import folder and apply it to a user and fill in the blanks basically, and then what? Do I need to set the cron thing for this to work? Will it work without it? I'm lost.

UPDATE Oh, wait....after setting the cronjob thingie that I found in that one topic, the admin panel is now saying that the convert is started.....and I didn't change anything in the admin panel. Cool. I think I'm on the road to recovery! LOL
