Problem with .asf files

Why does everytimes a .asf format file is uploaded, the beggining of the video is all mess up?

You can see an example here:

It does that only with all .asf files, all other format are fine.

can you provide the orginal file for download so i can test on my site?...are you using ffmpeg or mencoder to convert?

im using mencoder to convert.
