Can't seem to repair from backup?

Ok I have a very unusal problem, my sit at http://www.EthicalMarkets.TV appears to be working great.
but when I log into the admin panel the menu on the left crashed, so I decided to upload a new copy
of menu.php from the backup copy of the server. I made sure to FTP it via binary mode but can't
seem to get it back online.

Do you think the backup system toke the original copy via asc mode?

How do I get just a new encripted copy of that file "menu.php" from BuyScripts.ini?

Never Mind it just came back online? Go figure it must have cached the bad copy before??
