cant login on fresh install

hi there yall,

im new to vshare so bare with me :P

aight i installed it on a domain of mine but since there was allready a site on the domain i had it added to a new box and used my hosts file in windows to point to the correct ip adress.

Install went smooth and fast and it presented me with a page with a login url to theadmin and one to the users interface plus the resp. users and passes.

When i went to login to the admin it keeps returning the message that im not logged in.

So my main question is how to get in :) i btw changed the default pass in the database in the hope that would let me in, but no such thing.

Any help would be appreciated.

For changing admin password go through databse.Click sconfig table and change the admin password.Set the mode to"md5"

mate read my post i allready did that, I CANT LOGIN!!!

geez this sucks, bought me a new dedicated server for this script, now im stuck for over 24hours and wasted a lot of time...

:( aight i started this project being really excited about it. but like everything else my excitement is slowly slipping away.

im trying to get going here but looks like support is really hard to get on this script. if theres a fee to pay to get priority support right now then let me know (dont have paypal here only epassporte).

all i need is to get into the admin area, but it wont let me, the user login tho works fine :(

so i cant add approve anything yet users can allready add their stuff.

i really want to get going, but if this is gonna take another 24hours then im afraid i have to go with a different solution such as tubecgi.

thnx a lot for your time and i hope you guys get into second gear and help me out here.

i did have that problem once and sorted it by giving the server a restart....anything in the server logs?
