Still no flash
REF: http://www.tubebucket.com
I just did my 3rd fresh install of the script.
I dropped the db tables before the fresh installs. I used fresh files
from a fresh ZIP in case any had been corrupted during the zip
download. I've taken every small step I can think of to eliminate human
or technical errors. I've double checked everything step-by-step.
For some reason the vid files are not being converted into flash. I
don't know much about the process other than it's being done by the
server packages installed for this script.
It uploads the original vid file to the "video" folder, it's doing that
OK.
When a video file is uploaded it creates 4 thumbnails and places them in
the "thumb" folder, it's doing that OK. ffmpeg-php was added also per
script requirements.
However, there's no flash file created and placed in the "flvideo"
folder.
Is there a quick easy way to tell if ffmpeg, mplayer, mencoder, ffmpeg-php are functional?

All folder/files have permissions set as required.
I also added this to my htaccess,
php_value upload_max_filesize 200M
php_value post_max_size 200M
php_value output_buffering on
php_value max_execution_time 2000
php_value max_input_time 2000
php_value session.gc_maxlifetime 24400
Thanks for any suggestions :)

Try tunning following command in your server.
Code:
/usr/local/bin/mencoder /web/sites/glowlite/tubebucket.com/video/1.mpg -o /web/sites/glowlite/tubebucket.com/flvideo/1.flv -of lavf -oac mp3lame -lameopts abr:br=56 -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=flv:vbitrate=500:mbd=2:mv0:trell:v4mv:cbp:last_pred=3 -srate 22050 -lavfopts i_certify_that_my_video_stream_does_not_use_b_frames

I created "convert.php" and it tells me:
'error parsing cmdline'

It seems your mencoder installation is not proper. If properly installed, the convertion command will work on the server.

Thanks for your help. I have sent this info to the host. He is working on it now.

"Now Playing" and "Related Videos" never change thumbs, never have. This script was re-installed 3 times, "PREV" and "NEXT" links are dead also.
Email system works great. Can the watermark overlay link be moved? Top left corner?
Entering single 'quotes' in the Comments box (input field) generates the "Your already posted comments on this video" warning. Single apostrophe fails also. Double "quotes" are OK.
I also changed video_conversion.php to:
Code:
<?php
$cmd_ffmpeg = "$config[ffmpeg] -i $video_src -acodec mp3 -ar 22050 -ab 32 -f flv $video_flv";
$cmd_mencoder = "$config[mencoder] $video_src -o $video_flv -of lavf -oac mp3lame -lameopts abr:br=56 -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=flv:vbitrate=500:mbd=2:mv0:trell:v4mv:cbp:last_pred=3 -srate 22050 -lavfopts i_certify_that_my_video_stream_does_not_use_b_frames";
$cmd_all = $cmd_ffmpeg;
$convert_3gp = $cmd_all;
$convert_mp4 = $cmd_all;
$convert_mov = $cmd_all;
$convert_asf = $cmd_all;
$convert_mpg = $cmd_all;
$convert_avi = $cmd_all;
$convert_mpeg = $cmd_all;
$convert_wmv = $cmd_all;
$convert_rm = $cmd_all;
$convert_dat = $cmd_all;
?>
I tried using mencoder on the wmv, asf, 3gp, mp4, rm files but that didn't work either.
Thanks for your help.

Next, previous problem we are working on it.
The 3gp is not working as ffmpeg may not support it. You can try mencoder for that, to do this, change
Code:
$convert_3gp = $cmd_all
to
Code:
$convert_3gp = $cmd_mencoder;

I'm not concerned about 3gp files. I am concerned about wmv files. My post says tried using mencoder on the wmv, asf, 3gp, mp4, rm files but that didn't work either.
