Install Help Needed......

Hi all, I just purchased the vshare script and I am having issues. I have been running the vidi script with out issues. But thought this package is more supported so I decided to try it.

When I use the install script, it seems to work fine until it is supposed to create the tables and the page turns white and it just sits there. and this link in the URL link. www.domain.com/install/create_tables.php

I have verified that I have all the requirement but one. and that is the FLVTool binary tool. All others are installed.

I am running Fedora 8 with Apache 2 , PHP 5.2.5 and MySQL 5.

Does any one have a clue why I am seeing this?? Please help..

Just found out that in IE 7 it is giving me a 500 ERROR.

I thought this was a support forum. And since I have posted this issue no one has even offered any way to get this script working. I am very disappointed in the support not offered in the forum.

WHAT A WAIST OF $10 US DOLLARS!

1. FTP Login details of the web site

2. vshare login details (user and admin).

I can check and let you know why you are having problem with vShare installaton.

OK.. I do owe you an appology. I have actually got the script to work now. But your instructions may need to be modified. As i had to send the entire compressed file to my server and then use the command line to extract it. There must be files that need to be uploaded in ASCII or BINARY as everytime I did this via FTP it would not work.

I hope you will accept my appologies and take my advise and give a better install document and that should be a hughe stress releiver for you and you customers.

Hi me again. I have stumbled into another issue.

When I try to upload a clip it looks like it is starting to upload. But then I get a download box that pops up and wants me to download upload.php. I have researched this forum and made sure that the config.php and the uu_default_config.pm has the same path. But it still does not like something.

Please advise what I should look at.
