OK I installed Vshare a while ago and I'm not sure I did it right. I'm playing around with the templates but I cannot view any of the page directories - like the recent videos, can't view videos at all, not even profiles and all of that... I don't know if this would be related to the PHP of my host, it is not 5.X - any help would be appreciated because I'm running out of ideas.
You did not upload the .htaccess file. In the directory (on your computer) where you unzipped the vShare program, there is a file called .htaccess. On some computers this file may be hidden (on Windows, it is hidden if you do not have the "View File Extensions" function turned on. On Linux and Mac, it is hidden unless you browse the directory with a -a extension to view hidden files). You will need to upload this file to your media directory. Also, make sure that your webhost allows for you to use .htaccess files. Once you do that, the links should work as intended.
