Zend is really bad for vshare
Hello,
I have many websites running vshare.
Since few month i encountered many crashes of apache2, the webserver i run the websites on.
I tried many many thing until i found that when i deactivated the zend optimizer in php.ini, all gone fast and reliable. No crash and no bugs !
BUT, the only script i used (vshare) is encoded with zend. So, i can't put those websites running vshare available because if i do that, the apache2 server will crash.
I REALLY need an non encoded version of vshare, please. And it seems that many people encountered slowing apache2 with vshare. But the problem is, i think, for many of you, a problem like me, with php5 and the latest versions of Zend.
Please admin, give us a non-encoded version of vshare.
And instead of using Zend for optimizing your webserver and coding, i suggest you to try eaccelerator, which is a real fresh breath for your webserver.
Hope admin will listen my request, because this is a real improvment needed urgently on vshare, to keep it reliable.
Thank you.
Re: Zend is really bad for vshare
You should search the forum. It has been stated that the next release will not have Zend encoding. Before you ask, however, no we do not know when it will be released yet.
Re: Zend is really bad for vshare
Hey,
Yes i saw that, new version 2.7 soon but we don't know when it will be available.
This fix, Non-encoded is not a hard work for admins and it is really important and should be available as soon as it can be.
Because vshare without zend is i'm sure better and faster, and with eaccelerator, which is a cache accelerator, it will be amazing to navigate on vshare, you can trust me.
Please admin, make this fix available.
