I PURHCASED YOUR PRODUCT

I installed a software that was given to me by a friend i did not know that it was an iligal copy, with that copy which i installed successfully the videos were not loading, so i purhased the original after you advise me that it was an iligal copy, i am trying to run the installation and it is telling me that it can not connect with the database

the 777 settings is right
i uploaded in Binary
i server said they meet requirements
i am using the same database i was using for the other one
yes i empty all tables at that database
is there somthing missing?

can some one help

Delete everything from your domain and reupload everything fresh. Then, execute the installer that comes with the program (type in your website's domain name into your browser and the installer should execute automatically). Enter in all of the information for connecting to your database (username/password) along with the paths to all of your files. Then, give it a try.

Somehow you have things set up such that it's not sending a password to the mysql server.

If you were using an illegal copy, and are trying to upgrade that copy, you're bound to run into issues.

Make sure you have the database set up correctly, and also make sure you upload the files in binary mode.

The answer is very simple: the password that is used by vshare isn't correct. Open include/config.php and edit the var $db_pass with your current password. Save it and upload it to your website and if your copy isn't illegal it should work.
