hi i noticed that the meta tags for description and keyword in index only, do not appear in google.
how do i add this description and keyword to the header and not mess up keyword and description on all other pages
please help

how do i add this description and keyword to the header and not mess up keyword and description on all other pages

Edit header.tpl and added the following after <title> line
<meta name="keywords" content=" add Keywords here" />
<meta name="description" content="add description here" />
i know how meta tags work but if i change the header meta tags it will change it for the whole site i want to change it for the index page only without messing with the rest of the tags for other pages
