I Need an automated RSS news generator

Hi kids...

I need a little help. I have been sick as a dog ever since I got back from Vegas and I mean seriously sick...don't know when/if this virus that's kicking my ass will ever go away...but I need a script kind of thingie that will generate an rss feed for updated pages to a web site and I'm too sick to figure it out on my own, which is normally what I would do.

What I need is something that will have a form on a php page to create the information for the feed, put the info into a database and then generate the rss feed doc for the site which I will link the rss icon to for people to subscribe to. Does this make sense?

Anybody got such a thing or know where I can get one? I tried surfing the 'net for stuff but I'm too sick to concentrate on it to get anything I've found to work.

That was my next step...but first wanted to see is someone already had or knew of such a thing (why re-invent the wheel if such a thing already exists) and then figure it out on my own if it doesn't (and I can't imagine that it doesn't).

I'm starting to finally feel like a human being again so I'm going to take another stab at this.

I found this, which is really close to what I'm looking for, but don't know how to get it to work (it doesn't create or update the news.rss file I created) http://scriptol.com/rss/ara.php and I don't see any kind of support forums for their stuff...

I think I may have found the answer for my situation. I found this mini content management system called Writer's Block which has a built in RSS feed...all I have to do is make a kind of blog post and then use the rss feed from that. It's pretty slick. I just won't make this thing public, just use it for like the site news stuff and link to the rss feed it creates. http://www.desiquintans.com/writersblock
