Templates modification mode

I would like to know whether to replace the standard template with another is sufficient to replace the folders CSS, images and all tpl files. Thanks

Yes, you can modify/replace files in folder templates.

No one is talking about a database. The template files are stored on disk within the site itself. You can replace them however you wish. It will not cause DB errors.
