Upload Route?

Hello,

I'm wondering what a route of an upload is. For instance, if there's 5 video servers and someone uploads a video file - does it go directly to the video streaming server or does it go to the main website server then get transferred to the video server?

It go to main server, after processing it get uplooaded to streaming server.

What if it doesn't need to be processed or converted? For example, if someone uploads an flv file - the file wouldn't need to be converted so would it follow the same path? IE: Main server -> Streaming server?

It will follow same path as it need thumbnails created.
