Where and How to start?

Hi,

I do not want to look dumb but I am not sure that I have understood what I have to do to make all this working!

I cannot understand how can I upload the files first on my server if no changes have been made.

Ok...Even though, I am not a webdesigner by profession, I still built a few websites by using dreamweaver and flash but I am not used at all with php language so for me it is quite challenging.

Is there any clear video tutorials explaining how to start from scratch?

What I would like to do is to incorporate the files into an existing html website (via a button).

Can someone help me please?
