I used to use CIRTEXHOSTING. I was happy with them. Whenever there was an issue, they were Johnny on the spot. They have live help in MSN, Chat and Forums and I usually get a fix the same day and for more difficult issues, within 24 hours. Only problem is on shared hosting, they only let you have 5% system resources and pages load slow, I'm guessing they over-sell on shared hosting.
I moved to APTHost when I needed a little faster service with more system resources (they give you 10%), but I experienced problem after problem (Server Busy Errors mostly), I think they over sell on their shared as well... and on the last "Server Busy" error (which was the last straw) I decided to move to
Infrenion.com hosting.
I have not had one problem that wasn't my own fault (.htaccess or file permissions) yet they offered to fix everything for me. They also allow you 25% of system resources on shared hosting---almost like semi-dedicated but at the shared hosting price. My pages load lightening quick, no "server busy" errors or server outage reports from my monitoring service since the day I signed up. I have never been happier! I highly recommend these guys.

I totally agree with that!
I now have two vShare sites running with hostonnet and they have been reliable and fast with support.

I use HostOnNet also. They are good but.... only if you have only one domain.
Trying to do an add-on domain requires basically an act of god! The Add on domain in c-panel always errors out. Took me several tries to get them to add on the 5 domains that I needed. I wanted 2 more but they set them up as parked domains rather than add ons. I am pretty close to leaving them at this point because I really need those other 2 domain and am tried of fighting with them to get it done right.
A lot more expensive than some of the others. For example, JaguarPC, using the entertainment scripts (http://www.jaguarpc.com/services/entert ... cripts.php) gives you 17 gigs for $11 per month. I think they also give you an additional 10% on top of that also. Also, APTHosting (http://www.apthost.com/shared.php) gives you shared hosting for $9 for 15 gig.
That said, the hosting is otherwise pretty good and the response time for the sites is ok. Then again, I don't have very high volume.
