New videos going to featured status

I just put up a new vshare site, and added 2 test videos to it, and they both are showing in the featured video section. I did not set them to featured and in the admin panel it shows as "featured: no"

I don't know how or why this is happening other than I uploaded the same exact video twice. I'll try with a third different one to see what happens, but this same thing happened to me with another site which is located in a subdirectory.

UPDATE: The third and different video went directly into FEATURED when I did not set it up that way. The only thing I can think of is that I applied the youtube-fix to this site. The other thing I noticed is that the tags "cloud" is also broken. I'll reinstall the site without the youtube-fix applied and see what happens.

UPDATE: Just reinstalled the site without the youtube-fix and yes, the newly uploaded videos are going straight to the featured area so the youtube thing is not a factor, but something else.

This is still happening to me. I tried with both a full version of 2.6 that I had and also from 2.5 to 2.6 upgrade. New videos are going straight to featured and I can't figure out why and it's not happening on all my sites, just new ones.

Still you have the same problem
Login to admin area , Video Management = > All Videos => Edit one featured video => Is featured? => No .
After that got to the site and check still the video(feature removed) in the Featured Videos section or not

It is not on the df2videos.com site that this was happening to just new ones like vshare-mods.com and it quit doing that after I changed a tiny bit of code in the index.tpl which was missing some quotes around it.

The only thing wrong with df2videos.com is the polls are broken and I have no idea why, so I just shut it off.

Try to download the index.tpl file from your existing site and uploaded to new sites and check the problem fixed or not?

I can check and let you why you are having problem with polls panel .

Polls is now enabled. if you go to view the results, nothing happens or you get "ajax connection failure" message.

Oh and one other thing while I have your attention is that on vshare-mods.com, you will notice that the tag cloud isn't working, yet it works on df2videos.com. The tag cloud doesn't work on some sites and works on others, another thing that I can't figure out why that happens.

login to cpanel and check the error log. Can you see any problem?
