SkyeCom.Net is where I'm hosted, and they have the required add ons to support the vshare script.
FYI, SkyeCom.net has only 10 50% discount codes left. The code will discount any hosting plan by 50%. And it will discount your account for as long as your with them. Just a heads up.
The discount code is 50off You need to enter the code on the sign up form.
Hi I just bought the script, also the website hosting services I will like to know how I log in into my website vshare page to change the logo etc...?
Plese some one help me something else I am waiting for the script to be installed in the server with hostonet
http://www.bittraffic.com
VShare hosting and a ton of other stuff check it out :D
http://www.imageleet.com
They have 8.000 Mb hosting for $7.99 :):):):)
I think this is the most cheap, and have a great support.
I was having problems installing the script, and they installed for me, for free.
Try this out, they are very professional....
Hostgator DOES NOT support video sharing sites. The only way to go through them is with a dedicated server, and if you need then to set it up to run a video site, they will, for $75.00 per hour!Quote:

The plans are great, but support sucks - all they can do is try to get you to upgrade your plan rather than addressing a problem. If you complain about it though, your ticket will go straight to the top and get addressed. I think most of the problem with support is that English is a second language to them.
I'm sure there has got to be a better host out there, but for the average video sharing start up, cirtex works just fine.
Me too. Very slow servers sometimes, frequently got page unavailable. Switched to hostonnet, and so far so good. Cirtex hosting frequently dropped the video processing, disallowing large uploads effectively.Quote:

Support is instant, and help with installing scripts etc.. is available.
They even install all the required software onto the server for free on signup... all you have to do is speak to a sales assistance and they will help you on your way.

Mat.
I am planning to buy the script, but I needed to find someone to do some template changes, fix bugs as it needs, add new language etc...
So, I would like to know if you recomend someone to do that.
The http://www.hostonnet.com/youtube-clone- ... lation.php, they do the installation, but they say that they don't fix bugs, etc...
Do you offer some kind package for technical support? Fix bugs, changing templates, etc...
thank,s
Paulo
Well, I've been happy with Cirtexhosting so far. :/ Tech support has always been good, when they're not on live chat, there is the support tickets that they answer right away and there's their forums which they also are active in, in addition to directly chatting with support via MSN in the wee hours and I haven't noticed anything about slow servers. So, IDK. I like 'em so far and you can't beat the price. Even if you just want to test out the script and play around with it, you can't beat 25/year for this (which is only $2/month and we spend way more than that on lattes everyday and is their basic package, great for testing out and playing with vshare). You basically have nothing to lose, especially with their 30 day money back policy and even if it turns out that their servers are slow like you say, you can still keep the 25/yr account for other stuff that doesn't require a huge demand on their servers and host **unlimited** websites to boot for just $2/month.
So, I found their support to not be a problem (most problems solved within 24 hours) and I've never had them try to get me to upgrade my account.
Maybe if any of my sites actually gets popular, I might see a difference in performance and if that happens, I might look at a different host, but for now I'm happy.
I doubt you will find any hosting company that will modify any kind of script for you. For that you will need to pay a professional.
I have a VPS hosting account from a big company and worked with their support for almost a week to have all the requirements installed to run Vshare until I decided to get an account at Hostonnet.com. I can tell you I am very pleased with their shared plan and their server is very fast compared to my VPS host. Not only they can install the script for you but they can also upgrade it for a ridiculous price. They know the script and I am sure you can't beat this kind of support anywhere else for your Vshare website.
OK, so who is most satisfied with their hosting (excluding anyone with Cirtex!!)? I have issues at times with the site being slow on Cirtex servers and I cannot upload large files.
I've seen some of the posts on this thread, but most are from earlier in the year, so I'm wondering if you all still feel the same about your choices. Month-to-month hosting, not annual pre-pay, etc. Please post!
I find that pricing page confusing. It is actually 9.99 per month on top of the price of the plans, which go from $3 up.
But really, I dont see why anyone would take anything higher than the 2.99 + 9.99 plan, unless you just need 500 sql databases. I'm running 4 right now, and only see the need for 1 more in the future, so the cheap route would do me just fine.
I'm confused as to how they can afford this though, especially if they have a large number of video sites that are streaming. I would be interested in visiting several of their clients' sites to see how the speed is.
Now my post looks really confusing because the one I had replied to is no longer here. It was a post about xilahosting.com. Why was it removed - is there a problem with them?
BakoWeb http://www.bakoweb.com does it too, and they allow adult content.
I have used CIRTEXHOSTING before and was not very pleased. They claim on there site that their servers are compatible with VShare, Clip share, and PHPMotion. Originally, I was went with PHPMotion but the creators of that script have issues with it being used for Adult Porn sites so I switched to VShare. The installer for VShare would not even execute at CIRTEXHOSTING. There support people are no help at all. All they told me was that I would have to install VShare manually (whatever that means) and if I do not know how to do it, that I should send them the VShare script via email and they would do it for me for a $20.00 charge. There support system takes forever to get a hold of as well. There were many times where there online chat told me I was next in line and I had to wait over an hour for someone to chat with. As many have already mentioned there speed is not so good as well.Quote:

After running some beta test there were some server settings that need to be changed for VShare to work and after sending in couple of support tickets with the error message and instructions from this forum, they had it changed and up and running in no time. Plus, if you need to chat with them online, they answer within minutes and there support tickets were answered within half an hour. I have been with APTHost for less than a month so far but everything seems to be going smoothly and if there is a problem it gets taken care of within minutes not hours or days.
I'm starting out with there Power 75+ plan and if in the future I need to upgrade I was told by them that they will move me to whatever upgraded plan I need and they will take care of all the moving. I talked to there pre sales team via there chat system and I was able to email myself a copy of our conversation for future reference.
After only couple of weeks with APTHost, I am so glad that I dumped CIRTEXHOSTING and at them same time kicking myself for wasting time and money with them.
p.s. My signature probably gives away how much I hate CIRTEXHOSTING. LOL :)
Why the installer wouldn't work, can't say, cos I never had a problem getting the script to work on Cirtex. :/ I never had much of a problem with support either. Oh, well. Everyone has a different experience I guess. So, anyone interested in APTHOSTING, here's their link again:

Lazy bugger that I am, I don't want to check the fine print on all those hosts above.
Any of them allow adult?
