Using Agriya Player with vShare
To use Agriya Player with vShare 2.7, first you need to buy Agriya Player.
Backup your existing include/player.inc
Download
http://buyscripts.in/vshare/2.7_vsha...iya_player.zip
Unzip the files and upload to your server.
Upload Agriya Player to "player2" folder.
Agriya Player watermark should be JPG or SWF file.
You can change it in player2/player_config.php file
Quote:
<PLAYER_SETTINGS Name=\"Logo\" Value=\"true\" Url=\"$baseurl/templates/images/watermark.jpg\" Transparency=\"50\" RollOverTransparency=\"100\" LogoPosition=\"RT\" hspace=\"10\" vspace=\"10\" TargetUrl=\"$baseurl\" Target=\"_blank\" InnerScripts=\"yes\"/>
For showing FLV files (preroll and postroll) at start and end of the actual video, create a folder "advt_flv" and upload two FLV files with names "start.flv" and "end.flv"
You can change the name or disable advertisements by editing the file player2/player_config.php
Find
Quote:
$adv_flv_name = $config['baseurl'] . '/advt_flv/start.flv';
$postroll_flv_url = $config['baseurl'] . '/advt_flv/end.flv';
Change to your actual FLV or SWF advertisements
To enable, find
Quote:
$show_post_roll = 'fase';
$show_pre_roll = 'fase';
Replace with
Quote:
$show_post_roll = 'true';
$show_pre_roll = 'true';

Re: Using Agriya Player with vShare
Hey l1some,
I have the agriya player as well, and I haven't been able to get the thumb image to come up as the first frame on the player. Can you let me know how you did that? Also, what's your site url so I can check it out?
-
Re: Using Agriya Player with vShare
<PLAYER_SETTINGS Name=\"FirstFrameAs\" Value=\"video\" FrameAt=\"0\" Url=\"images/vImage.jpg\" Align=\"stretch\"/>
check this in playlist.xml
$thumb = $config['baseurl'] .'/thumb/' . $video_info['VID'] .'.jpg';
-
Re: Using Agriya Player with vShare
Hmm...I have the same code in my config.xml file, but that gives me the first frame of the video as my thumb, which is kind of annoying because half the time it's black. I was hoping that you had figured out how to have one of the created thumbnail images as the first frame, but I guess not.
-
Re: Using Agriya Player with vShare
the first thumb does show.
-
Re: Using Agriya Player with vShare
Strange. I wonder why mine isn't working then? What's your site url, so I can check out your player?
-
Re: Using Agriya Player with vShare
Admin are you sure it works also in multi server?
-
Re: Using Agriya Player with vShare
Hey Guys....For those of you they may be having a problem with the player not showing, check the "includes/player.inc file. The one I downloaded from here has a typo in the player width statement.
Find: "{$config[player_wdith]}" and correct the spelling of "wdith" to "width"!
I couldn't get the player to show up at all in IE7 and in Firefox it was squished. Correcting the typo did the trick.

Re: Using Agriya Player with vShare
Not working on multi server!!

Re: Using Agriya Player with vShare
Need a little help here guys. I got the player working just fine. Videos play no problem. What I can't seem to figure out is why the playlist won't work. I've checked everything several times and all seems to be in order. At the end of the video I get the scroller bar with only one blank video positioned to the left doing the spinning thing? Any ideas will be much appreciated.

Danchis

I've got the same problem. I can see the player, but it just says "Loading" indefinitely, and never actually loads anything. I think the multi-server feature is hanging it up, because I currently have files residing on a second server.
Anyone know how to work around this?
Update...
Ok, I've done some experimenting here. Older files that are on the original server work perfect. Files on the new/second server do not work. Definitely a multi-server issue. If anyone knows how to work around this, I would greatly appreciate it.
-
Re: Using Agriya Player with vShare
I also notice that the embed code still uses the original /player/player.swf. I'm not sure if this disrupts embedded videos since a change has been made to the player.inc file.

Re: Using Agriya Player with vShare
Did anyone get this player working with multi-server support?
-
Re: Using Agriya Player with vShare
Just bumping this thread in the hopes that someone out there got this player to work with multi-servers.
-
Re: Using Agriya Player with vShare
I never did. I had to make a choice between multiserver and this player, so I opted to go with the cheaper JW player and multiple servers. I wish multi server worked with this one.

Bad trick! Admin, now we pretend an explanation of the story or at least apologize for the mistake if you can't fix the problem!

Re: Using Agriya Player with vShare
The multi-server issues that you guys are reporting is going to be due to the fat that the player_config.php file is written to only support single-server setup's and not multi-server setups. I have modified the player_config.php file so that it should work.
Also, if anyone would like any help installing this player with vShare, please let me know. I do charge a small fee for this, however. PM me if you would like more details.
Here is the modified player_config.php file which supports multi-server environments:
Code:
<?php
include('../include/config.php');
include('../include/function.php');
$id = isset($_GET['id']) ? $_GET['id'] : '';
$adv_flv_name = $config['baseurl'] . '/advt_flv/start.flv';
$postroll_flv_url = $config['baseurl'] . '/advt_flv/end.flv';
$sql = "SELECT * FROM `video` WHERE vid=$id";
$result = mysql_query($sql) or mysql_die($sql);
if (mysql_num_rows($result)>0) {
$video_info = mysql_fetch_assoc($result);
if($video_info['server_id'] == 0){
$flv_url = $config['baseurl'] ."/flvideo/" .$video_info['flvdoname'];
}
else{
$server_id = $video_info['server_id'];
$sql = "select * from servers where id=$server_id";
$result = mysql_query($sql) or mysql_die($sql);
$server_info = mysql_fetch_assoc($result);
$url = $server_info['url'];
$flv_url = $url ."/" .$video_info['flvdoname'];
}
}
header("content-type:text/xml;charset=utf-8");
header("Cache-Control: no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate");

Re: Using Agriya Player with vShare
I'm not 100% sure about that, but I'm willing to bet that it probably has something to do with the fact that I just noticed that the other PHP file (playlist_xml.php) has an error in the code. When executed, the output from the file is supposed to generate XML that the player then uses. However, one of the commands has an "echo" statement in front of a SQL query which tells PHP to print out (or output) one of the database SQL commands. Thus, you get SQL text before the XML, which I'm pretty certain causes the player to have some issues. Here is a fixed playlist_xml.php file:
Code:
<?php
include('../include/config.php');
include('../include/function.php');
header("content-type:text/xml;charset=utf-8");
header("Cache-Control: no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate");
header("Cache-Control: post-check=0, pre-check=0", false);
$id = isset($_GET['id']) ? $_GET['id'] : '';
$sql = "SELECT * FROM `video` WHERE vid=$id";
$result = mysql_query($sql) or mysql_die($sql);
if (mysql_num_rows($result)>0) {
$video_info = mysql_fetch_assoc($result);
}
$rtags = group_tags($sql);
$rtags[0] = addslashes($rtags[0]);
$chnl = "";
if (count($rtags) > 1) {
for($i = 1;$i < count($rtags);$i++) {
$tag = $rtags[$i];
$tag = addslashes($tag);
$chnl .= " OR description LIKE '%$tag%' OR keyword LIKE '%$tag%'";
}
}
$sql = "SELECT * FROM video WHERE
type='public' AND
active=1 AND
approve=1 AND
(keyword like '%$rtags[0]%' $chnl)
ORDER BY VID ASC";
$result = mysql_query($sql) or mysql_die($sql);
echo "<FLV_PLAYLIST Refresh=\"40\" Sequence=\"order\">
<DESCRITPTION Name=\"Name\" Value=\"\" />
<DESCRITPTION Name=\"Rating\" Value=\"Rating: \" />
<DESCRITPTION Name=\"Comments\" Value=\"Comments: \" />
<DESCRITPTION Name=\"Views\" Value=\"Views: \" />";
while($video_info = mysql_fetch_assoc($result)) {
if ($video_info['VID'] !=$id) {
if ($video_info['video_length'] != '') {
$duration_hms = "(" .sec2hms($video_info['duration']) .")";
}
$video_name = str_replace('"','',$video_info['title']);
$thumb = $config['baseurl'] .'/thumb/' . $video_info['VID'] .'.jpg';
$video_url = $config['baseurl'] ."/view/" .$video_info['VID'] ."/" .$video_info['seo_name'] ."/";
echo "<VIDEO Name=\"$video_name $duration_hms\" Rating=\"$video_info[rate]\" Comments=\"$video_info[com_num]\" Views=\"$video_info[viewnumber]\" Thumbnails=\"$thumb\" url=\"$video_url\" target=\"_self\"/>";
}
}
echo "</FLV_PLAYLIST>";
?>
Edit Changed the PHP code to have a multi-server compatible URL in it.
Edit Changed the PHP code to link to video as a page versus video FLV.
Edit Changed the PHP code to deal with the fact that names are being reused.
Edit Changed the PHP code to fix an issue in which titles that have quotes in them cause the related video thumbnails to not show completely. Also fixed an error in the duration code so that it shows the duration and not "()".

Re: Using Agriya Player with vShare
still no go on the thumb click does the someurl need to be repointed ??
ORDER BY RAND()";if you want your thumbs to be random
Code:
$sql = "SELECT * FROM video WHERE
type='public' AND
active=1 AND
approve=1 AND
(keyword like '%$rtags[0]%' $chnl)
ORDER BY VID ASC";
-
Re: Using Agriya Player with vShare
I didn't even notice that there was a URL in the link. Good catch. However, now that requires me to remodify the code that I put up. I am going to edit that post to have the correct playlist_xml.php. This file will place the URL to the video in it and is multi-server compatible.
As for your second question (regarding the ORDER BY RAND();), I would NOT recommend that you do that. The way that function works is it determines the number of rows within the table and then generates that many random numbers (so, if there are 1000 rows, 1000 random numbers are generated). It will then choose the lowest of those random numbers. The problem with this is the process of diminishing returns. As the number of videos on your site grows, you will be requiring your server to work harder and harder for EACH video that you display. The end result of that will a mySQL crash (crash as the result of the following: number of videos [let's use 1000] x number of random numbers [would be 1000] x number of simultaneous visitors [let's use a small number and say 200]).
Note: In my example above, that's 200,000,000 (2 Hundred Million) numbers generated for 200 people. That's a lot of work.
-
Re: Using Agriya Player with vShare
now with the some url replaced with
Code:
echo "<VIDEO Name=\"$video_info[title]($duration_hms)\" Rating=\"$video_info[rate]\" Comments=\"$video_info[com_num]\" Views=\"$video_info[viewnumber]\" Thumbnails=\"$thumb\" url=\"$flv_url\" target=\"_self\"/>";
when the thumb is clicked it ask's to download file or open it??
-
Re: Using Agriya Player with vShare
Dang it. My bad. The code is putting in the link to FLV. However, it appears as though the playlist in Agriya is not linking to the FLV back into the player. Rather, it's loading the site. Hang on a bit. I'll change the code and repost it.
-
Re: Using Agriya Player with vShare
Ok, give it a try now. I just changed the code again.
-
Re: Using Agriya Player with vShare
when the thumbs clicked does a replay of the video just watched not whats on the thumb
-
Re: Using Agriya Player with vShare
Hmm... Seems as though some of the code is being reused. Didn't notice that before. Just changed the PHP again for playlist_xml.php. Try it now.
-
Re: Using Agriya Player with vShare
that got her going very nice seems to do what it was meant to thank you
