When a user isnt logged in they cannot upload nor go to friends.
I would like to use the same code that allows that function and apply that to the video.tpl page so that users need to login before they can actually see a video playing.
Where can i find the script? I looked in header.tpl and uploads.tpl.
You can do it another easier way in admin go to system settings and put guest limit to 200. At 200 it lets them look for 200 seconds if lower they wont be able to watch at all.
That's cool, but that makes it look like the site isnt working since it keeps rotating back to the front of the site.Quote:

Yep its coming along quite nicely. When you are set up and haave vids to publish and want some visitors we cud trade links, also heres a free publicity website to put your video urls in to get advertised http://vidposter.com . As for the above stuff im not seeing the message not sure why. Has me confused. Maybe when you wer tweaking the sites templates somethings gone haywire. The admin here will know.

yeah, in your admin panel just change the site settings to free service. That is how the site comes out of the box therefore i guess im not sure what you are asking
I don't want people to sign in into my website for now. I just want them to view the videos because i want to be in control to my website for now.
maybe in the near future i will let them sign in and upload there own videos.
I allready create my own accounts to upload my files.

well go to your admin panel
http://www.yoursite.extention (http://www.whatever.com) and click on site setting and click on FREE SERVICE from the drop down menu. This would make it so that anyone can view.
I just did but still people can register. I don't want them to register.
