upload progress bar

Hello, progress bar for uploads is very important

We will try to add this as early as possible.

When can we expekt a progress bar feature?

yes yes yes the progress bar is a very important feature we cannot be in suspance for every upload :D

Yes, we understand this is important, but it will make installation little difficult for users as it need CGI Perl. Can do it with PHP, but that need some PHP module installed server side, that is may not installed on most servers.

Anyway we will be adding this shortly.

By progress do you mean one that reflects & displays the actual percentage of the upload or a graphic that looks good while the user is waiting?

Actual measurement would be best, but just having something moving like the graphics I posted above would help prevent members from clicking away, or aborting early from the upload.

I dont think you need a bar just something that shows its uploading.


Like 100/1000kb uploaded etc..

Or just ad a 0-100% uploaded bar.

We really need this especially with larger files.

I would try and do it myself but with the upload.php and upload_success.php encrypted I don't have any access to the code.

Will be the one we finalized to use for upload progress bar. We do not done it earlier was it is perl and can make installation difficult for most of the new users.
