Not able to complete video uploading

dear all,

Please help solve this problem.. im not able to complete video upload by putting date recorded , location and etc.

Once i click the update video button.. not able to complete the details..

Please try the following:

If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly.

i dont have vshare folder.. i upload them directly to my root.. the old version was working fine in my site.. but this new version is not working properly..

i didnt check the others yet.. if you want i will give you the vshare zip file im using..

i meant the local vshare folder....just check that the .htaccess from the vshare.zip is the same as the .htaccess that is uploaded on your server. you can view it with a text editor.

i also notice that http://www.pinoycockers.com is redirecting to http://server40.hosthat.com/~pinoycoc/index.php

This may be causing the problem if its not the .htaccess file

my domain has his own separate hosting.. imjust modify hte cpanel of my domain to a new hosting..

i have uploaded already na htaccess you telling about from local folder of vshare...

jhayr101681 anything that uses the rewrite rule is not working...try clicking on your username or the "watch" link. fix that and it will prolly fix upload too.

why is

$config['baseurl'] = "http://server40.hosthat.com/~pinoycoc";

not set as

$config['baseurl'] = "http://www.pinoycockers.com";

pinoycockers.com is my domain hosted by http://www.marvinsweb.com


server40.hostat.com is a hostname from other hosting site..

My domain is just redirect to server40.hosthat.com

in reality my main link is http://server40.hosthat.com/~pinoyco

not i realize no free anymore in the earth.. hehehe

well i think its a problem with http://server40.hosthat.com/~pinoyco/ and the .htaccess rewrite rule.

maybe the ~ in the URL?

if you set your domain to point to your new webspace propely and not redirect and had your domain in the vshare config file i bet it would work fine.

other than what i have said above which i do think is the problem you will have to see if admin or zeffer can sort it.

http://www.pinoycockers.com has its own hosting..

server40.hosthat doesnt have its own domain.. im just redirect the domain to hosthat.. as you can see in config.php setup.. the main link is server40.

can you give me a copy of your version 2.2.. i will try to install in my server..

i dont have playlist folder , /public folder and etc in my vshare youtube clone..


meaning to say my cms is not complete.. please give me a complete a complete clone cms..

The htaccess rewrite rule is what creates those folders so no your not missing anything, your vshare is fine...its your server that is wrong.

also if you have added / to the end of your site URL in the config file then remove it.

The above is the only solution i can think that can fix it....maybe the admin will be able to help better.

Double check with your webhost that this is indeed the path to these files. Some hosts require usr/local/bin.

Also, this script will NOT work if you are directing it to the default host files (which this is). It MUST be directed to the domain name. I know this because I tried using the default host files before my domain propogated and it simply would NOT work until the domain name propogated and I put the domain name in place of the default host files. Once I did that, BINGO...worked fine!

You should not do that, change your name servers to the name server provided by your host, if you don't know name servers, ask them.

im using old version before and its work perfect except the plan...

i used the same procedure..

in v2 its not working..
