How to install Vshare to test on local machine?

I don't know if I am missing the point or if it is just that simple. Just install a webserver (apache) on your local machine with mysql and then install vshare (along with ffmpeg and all requirements) onto that same machine. Your web address to check the site would be http://localhost. If this is not what you mean, I am confused with the question.
