Upload not working
Hey admin,
I'm wondering if you can help me get to the bottom of why my uploads are suddenly not working.
Basically, the upload seems to work fine, and then just when the upload progress bar finishes, it flashes to a blank screen and dies. Also, the video ends up in the video file, but no flv file is created.
Oh, and my debug.txt file seems to die with these final words:
2008-01-25 9:10:31 Calling ffmpeg-php -> ffmpeg_movie()
Based on all that, I'm assuming it's a ffmpeg or a mencoder problem. But I completely reinstalled ffmpeg, mencoder and all of that, and I'm still getting the same problem.
Any ideas what else it could be?

Re: Upload not working
What is the site url ? It seems ffmpeg-php is not properly installed. It shows in phpinfo ?

Re: Upload not working
The url is http://www.trailerspy.com.
I replaced a bunch of stuff and the upload now works most of the time, but I still get some 500 internal service errors now and then.
What is phpinfo? And how do you know that ffmpeg-php is not installed properly?

You need to upload the phpinfo.php in your orginal vshare and access this http://www.trailerspy.com/phpinfo.php
You can see ffmpeg if it is installed.

Re: Upload not working
Ah, sorry about that. My programming skills are, well, non-existent.
I just checked my phpinfo.php file...it's actually under http://videos.trailerspy.com/movies/phpinfo.php
Anyway, it says that I have ffmpeg-php is enabled, and I have version 0.5.0.
I'm assuming that's fine. Let me know if that's not the up-to-date version.

Re: Upload not working
This is mostly caused by ffmpeg-php not working properly. Since ffmpeg-php use ffmpeg, this can caused by ffmpeg or ffmpeg-php.
So try reinstalling ffmpeg and ffmpeg-php latest versions. Download ffmpeg from SVN. Also ffmpeg-php latest version is 0.5.1

If you are using vshare 2.6, you can select mplayer in admin area for thumbnail creation, in that case, you don't need ffmpeg-php installed.
Site Settings > Miscellaneous Settings > Create Thumbnail with
