ADMIN -- SITE SETTINGS -- SYSTEM -- ????
Hi again. While going through all of the system settings in the admin panel, there are a couple of items that I just can't seem to understand what their SPECIFIC purposes are? For example:
Watch Videos and Guest Limit ....
Now I know that the guest limit is the amount of SECONDS that any guest can view videoclips on the site before being required to sign up. This, in my opinion, would negate the requirement for ... watch videos ... as I'm assuming that those are the amount of videoclips that a guest user may view, before being required to sign up. Is this correct?
Also, same screen ... LIST PER PAGE ... ???
What exactly is that for? It's not last viewed, or recently viewed, or related videoclips. It's also not user comments or comments per clip. So again, could someone please tell me specifically what List per Page is all about? Thanks a lot.

please change list per page value at admin area and you can see the difference in group pagination,topic and video :twisted:

ONE ... this does not answer my question.
TWO ... I have no idea what you're trying to tell me.
THREE ... I had list per page set to 4 ... I then logged in and checked out groups in general as well as checking out my own group. As admin I changed the page per list from 4 to 10 and logged myself in again as a user. Neither of those areas, groups in general nor my own group changed whatsoever. I even cleared my browser cache and checked with firefox. Perhaps that's because clips are missing, or users are missing, or whatever ... ???? THAT'S WHY I ASKED FOR AN EXPLANATION so that I could LEARN & UNDERSTAND what the list option is all about.
FOUR ... when people say that they need explanations and specific answers ... comments such as yours are of absolutely no help at all since your answer didn't explain anything. Sadly, developers/programmers often forget that "regular folks" don't think in code nor should they be presumed to know what someone like you is saying since most regular folks wouldn't already be familiar with the product, as you so obviously are.
