Can't get the roller to work when a site is in a subdirectory. Like in vowvideos.com/community and wegeek-design.com/vshare
but it works when the site in the root directory.
If it's not fun, stop doing it!
Any of the mods should work in a subdirectory, all you have to do is open up the .php file, modify the path to config.php and then in the embed code point it to the .swf / .php as you would normal, and this should get it working for you.Originally Posted by grynmoors

Hope this helps,

The roller is also in the subdirectory, so not sure what in the path of config.php I need to change....that's the thing. Everything...cgi-bin, everything, is in the subdirectory and the roller won't work.

Well, I made *some* progress...I put a slash (/) in front of "include" and that didn't work so I removed it and re-uploaded without the slash and for some reason that got the scroller working, but the thumbs don't show up...
UPDATE: Well, I'm completely stumped on this one. On one site where it's in a subdirectory, the roller works except the thumbs don't show up and the same exact file in another site in a subdirectory doesn't work at all, when at the least, it should be behaving in the same exact manner.

mmm, this is strange.Originally Posted by grynmoors
What I would do is open up the .php file replace the below:
print $config['BASE_URL'];
with
print "http://www.yourdomain.com";
where is mentions andthing to do with print $config['BASE_URL'];
Also this is a correction for any script using the print $config['BASE_URL'];
It should be : print "$config['BASE_URL']";
Note the " "

Yep, ONLY ME! I swear...if it can go wrong, it will happen to me :roll: ! :lol:mmm, this is strange.
Thanks, you're a genius. Yes, that was it, I had to do "http://mydomain.com/subdirectory" in place of the baseurl (which makes no sense that I should have to do this but oh well --it works now). 8)

Any idea why the time stamp wouldn't show up on the roller?

Okie dokie, I'll get the new one and check it out...as soon as the "Zend Optimizer Not Installed" error (which I'm getting all of a sudden) is fixed by my webhost. They did something and screwed things up.
