    Default domain name direction

    I recently installed Vshare and everything seems to be working, for now anyways but I have a question that is probably simple to some but I am a bit confused.
    If I go to my website like "http://www.mywebsite.com/vshare/" then everything is okay but if I type in just the domain name at "www.mywebsite.com"
    it brings up a page that says "INDEX OF " and then names a few files like .wysiwygPro_edit_index_html.php, smileys, and others. why does it not bring up the home page like it does when I type in the "http://www.mywebsite.com/vshare/".
    How do I fix this or what did I do wrong?
    Thanks for any help in advance

    I am hosted at hostonnet.com

    Thank you for reply,
    Not sure what I've done,
    I now have my website at http://www.fishinflicks.com to open without adding /vshare/ extension ,but my "HOME" button takes me to a similar page at but not same page (takes me to http://www.fishinflicks.com/vshare/index.php)and if I open that page to edit all it says is
    <?php

    Header("Location: http://www.fishinflicks.com/vshare/");
    exit;

    I contact HOSTONNET and they replied stating that I need to install Vshare in public_html which I already have done
    It may look a it messy..... been adjusting some of the colors...etc.
    Please Help
    Thank you in advance

    Make sure you have all your config files set properly. I've moved my vshare sites from subdirectories into main directories before (and visa versa) and if you miss so much as one little dot or dash in the config files, the site will crash or do weird things like you mention. It's not fun...it's do-able, but not fun.
    If it's not fun, stop doing it!
