    Default CORE files

I noticed during the last backup of my site that there are a lot of files under the admin directory named CORE7325, CORE66523 etc. not present in the first installation of Vshare. Each file is about 24-25Mb.
What is the scope of these files? May be deleted?

Hey, I was wondering the same thing too...only I don't have any "core" files in any of my vshare sites, but they do appearin all my ecommerce sites.

I posted a question about it in my webhost support forums to see if anybody knows. I'm tempted to just make a back up, then delete them, to see what happens.

I have many of them in my vshare root and in admin dir. Anyway i'm trying to restore a backup without those files.
I also have a big log file in vshare about 125mb!

Holy crap! Let us know how it goes. I would do it but I came down with the flu last night. I've been sitting here for about an hour and a half and I'm not going to last much longer....

These are called core dumps, they happen sometimes when scripts fail to execute (kind of complicated to explain), they can be safely removed from your webspace.
