I used openads back when it use to be php ads new. It's a great program, but my install failed with vshare.

I uploaded all of the openads files to a directory. When I went to run the installation file, I got a page that used the vshare template, and had an error message saying that the user was not found. I have no idea what that is all about.

I'll have to take another look tomorrow. Has anyone out there been able to successfully install openads with vshare?

openads allows me to use my own adverts, it also lets you be an ad company like adsense if you want. also i think it intergrates well with google adsense, plus 100's more features :)

Your right it gives you more options, but adsense is my $$ maker.

Plus, OpenAds now allows you to track adsense clicks, so you can compare what your server says to what the adsense reports say. Even if you don't want to host your own ads, OpenAds still has benefits for you. I've personally found that a good mix of traditional affiliate banners and contextual ads (google) brings in the best revenue. Some people respond to one but not the other.

Thanks for the fix Leki. I'll check that out a little later. Hopefully it works good. I use to love this program because I could manage the ad campaigns for all of my sites from one location.
