Default "video not found" remote ftp storage

hey ,im trying to set up a vshare server to host videos on a remote server. now the videos that are converted have been uploaded allright. BUT when i try to watch the video the video player says "file not found". Im using appache on my server and vsftpd as the ftp server. the storage folder has all privalages assigned and i STILL cant get the video to stream from the files stored inside.Any ideas on how to get them to stream from my remote storage server?

What is the url of the video ? Check the player code, you will get the video url, see if that goes to remote server.

the url is like http://SERVER/view/11/zdhhdfhfh/ so there is no complete reference to the videos location or the FTP server
EDITthe video files url is like http://FTPSERVER/var/MEDIASTORAGEPOINTinside there are various hidden folders created by the vshare system inside.

When you use remote server, video urls will go to remote server and if server is setup properly, that video url should work.

If you can post web site url, i can check.

You need the files accessed though http. That is you need to install a web server. Verify you can download the video with direct url to the video.
