Default show all tags instead of recent or popular

Is there a way to modify the way to display tags instead of showing recent and popular. I would like to show all tags and recent tags. I am using v2.7

Can't be done! There must be an answer here. With this many people reading the post there must be others who want to do this too. Admin?

Try and edit all instances where the specific tags are being brought up. (i.e - If you wish to edit their display in the "Channels" section, then edit channels.tpl accordingly). Try to experiment but most importantly, find where the tags in mind are located and fiddle with it. If common sense does not prevail and you need further help, then try to be more specific so others may more appropriately assist you.

    If I may...

In 2.6, the file would be located at http://yourdomain.com/tags.php.
In 2.7, the file would be located at http://yourdomain.com/tags/.

In both instances, the top half of the page has POPULAR TAGS and the bottom half of the page has LATEST TAGS.

How would one go about showing ALL tags on the TAGS page (both 2.6 and 2.7), not just popular and/or latest tags?

Can someone please explain how to do it? Thank you very much! :)

In templates, remove one section of tags you don't want, change heading for the page as you like. Then in tags.php, find the LIMIT 100, change the number as you want, a higher number will do fine. But too large value can make the page too big.

FYI, those instructions work for 2.7, but tags.php is encrypted on 2.6, so if it can be done, I must use another method.

How easy is that? Thanks. If I would have found tags.php before I would have clued in I think. I just set my popular setting to 600 and got the result I was looking for.

You're welcome. Glad that worked out for you. :)

I just visited your wrestling site. Cool idea to put the "Videos Being Watched Right Now" thingy on the splash page!
