About the .tpl files. I spent a great deal of time modifying to my needs.Changing the wording etc.Have the .tpl's changed a good deal or can I upload and overwrite the ones from this upgrade?
Changed templates, check if you modified any of them, if yes, compare the one from upgrade with the one you are using. You can use software like WinMerge to compare the templates.

Hi All. If you are having any trouble displaying .swfs in your new pages that you protect. The key is to make a directory and put those .swf files in that directory and the link your embed/object code to that directory in the new page you create...

From what I can tell the pages are stored in the database and this is a solution I came up with.

Just in case anyone comes across that problem.Hope it helps

    Regards
    Loachman

Noticed that too - they're removed from the descriptions, titles and tags.

OK so where do I need to upload the .sql file to? And how do I run it?
Go into your cPanel and look for "phpMyAdmin" and click on that.

On the left hand side should be a drop down menu with a list of all the databases you are using. Choose the one that is running your video share community.

Then at the top on the right hand side you should see a bunch of tabs like "structure" "sql" "search", etc. Choose the tab for IMPORT.

Then where it says "browse"....look for the .sql file that you want to import from your harddrive or where ever you have it stored and then press GO. That's it.
If it's not fun, stop doing it!

Do I really want to install this update knowing that this issue exists? What about users? There are users on my site who also have the letter "F" in their name.
