    Default Enhance the Quality

    Hello!

as I have posted here a few days ago I want to know how to enhance the quality in my videos.

If you take a look on the link you will see that the converter created some "stripes", they reduce the quality enormously.

So how do you get the best Quality?
A good conversion mod would be a dynamically adjustable bitrate.

    Thanks,

You can adjust bit rate by changing convert command.

    dynamically adjustable bitrate.
I don't know how this works. Can you explain ?

If a user uploads a video with bitrate 200 the video should be converted with 200.

But if I set the maximum to 1000, and a user uploads a file with bitrate 1000, then the 1000 bitrate should be used.

I don´t want a bitrate 200 video in bitrate 1000 converted, do you know what I mean?

But the main problem which I have are these stripes in my video. Can you help me out here?
    I have marked them here:

Are you working on the dynamically bitrate or on the stripes?

The orginal video is downloadable in my first post. That problem must be laying at the codec or sth. else, other videos don´t have this problem.

We have done dynamic bitrate, if you want to setup it on your site, open a support ticket at

    BuyScripts Helpdesk

Video quality, may be some codec problem. If you need a proper answer, need to ask in mencoder mailing list.

    My wish for the future:
The possibility to switch beteen HD and SD (like yt)
And high quality encoding (means the script will check which codec the file uses, then it will pick the best settings for the file).

In times of >22 inch Screens is quality very important.
