    Default Unable to execute query

After installing vshare, everything went fine. But when I first tried to upload a sample video (5.2 mb avi) I got the following error.

    ERROR: Unable to execute query
    SELECT * FROM `config` WHERE
    `config_name`='enable_flvtool'
    MySQL server has gone away

What do I need to do now. Kindly Help.

    Default Thank You

Thanks a lot for the help. That issue is resolved now. I am now using FFmpeg thumbnail maker. But some more issues have crept up

1.) But when I try to upload a new video, I sometimes get an error saying
" ERROR : Unable to read the length of file"

When I refresh the screen and then try to load the same video, it uploads properly. Is there any way to fix it?

2.) After uploading this file (38 mb), I got the message "Could not connect: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (11)". The whole site witnessed this and even when I typed my domain name in my browser, I got the same error.

    How do I resolve this?

And I get the same error even without uploading the video. If I login and then keep the same screen for sometime and then refresh the screen, I get the above error.

    Any help is Appreciated.

    Thanking You,
    Subramanya

    1. Upload a small test video and check its showing error message.

contact your webhost to set the php configuration same as YouTube Clone Server Requirements

2 . MySQL server is down or the script is not able to connect to MySQL with user name and password provided.

    Check more details at

MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' - Google Search
