Mobile Phone Users

As youtube as recently opened up a mobile version of the site http://m.youtube.com , I'm wondering if this could be added to this script.

I think youtube takes certain files using Chmod and converts them to 3GP for viewing via their mobile site??

Maybe something to think about.

In addition to this what about letting users send videos from their cell phones to the site for posting?

Made have an email account set up to take the incoming video and then somehow associate there emailed video to their account and post it to the site.

This one is probably going to take a while to figure out and implement, but I definitely think it's going to be a big trend to get onto. We should be on this like a leg-humping dog :)

Yes I think this THE thing for close future (working already).

The "Inspiration point" of people is not always when they
sit next to their PC ... but the mobile phones with camaras
etc are always with them ... so the access to upload/share
videos and download them will be used much more then the
PC really ... just compare the numbers of conected PCs with
conected mobile devices :D

Anyway if there is someone talented interested in this contact
me as I own a premium domain name for these services registered
years ago and have been sitting on it waiting for the show to start ....

I got an omnia mobile and would love to implement something like this, maybe a different "layout" where they bring up 3gp videos instead of flash?

anyone know how facebook does it? They ask you to send an email to [email protected] and then it is uploaded to your account. obviously your phone number is connected to your account to prior registration
