Yes I did.

but the solution is only for 2.6, and I have 2 search boxes already

That solved the problem (multiviews).
Must I recover the search_box.tpl or can I leave it empty?

OK well maybe I'm not understanding you.

When you say the search box isn't working, what exactly do you mean?

If you want to get the search box to appear on all pages, you insert the code from search_box.tpl into header.tpl then delete all the code from search_box.tpl and upload the empty file.

Is that what you are attempting to do?

No. I installed vshare 2.7
If I tried to search for something I got only an error (search string empty)


I had a few problems with my apache, and so I set it on multiviews.


That caused the problem that the normal search box was not working. In the single post of bplex (thx ) I read that and switched multiviews off.

Then it worked. Now buyscripts sent a message to me that they are working on my site. After the multiviews the site was running, atm there is only a white page.

All I wanted is that my search function is working.
We´ll see
