Using JW FLV Player with vShare

Download JW Player from

LongTail Video | Home of the JW Player

When downloading uncheck the check box saying "Include Viral Plugin".

After downloading, extract mediaplayer.zip

You need to upload following files to player folder in your vshare installation, take a backup of current player before overwriting it.

player.swf
yt.swf

JW Player will work now.

If you need to add skin, download skin from

AddOns | Skins | LongTail Video | Home of the JW Player

Extract and upload the swf file into player folder.

Edit include/player.inc

Find

so.addVariable("bufferlength", "{$config['player_bufferlength']}");

Add below

so.addVariable("skin", "{$config['baseurl']}/player/NAME_OF_SKIN_HERE.swf");
