How to change video quality

How would I go about changing the video quality of newly uploaded videos to a higher quality bitrate of flv?

If that possible without server tweaks as im on a shared hosting enviroment?

You will have to either buy a MOD that can convert to the specified HD/HQ formats, try changing players, from default to JW or the like, use embeds from sites with preconfigured HQ formats, or wait for an update.

In short, no, it is currently not possible with the default setup.

If you are asking on how to edit your config file so that it will convert to a nice hq video you can edit

/include/settings/video_conversion.php

Play around with mencoder setting or ffmpeg setting to achieve the quality you want.
