"Build it and they will come..."

Well actually the real quote is
If a man can write a better book, preach a better sermon, or make a better mousetrap than his neighbor, though he build his house in the woods, the world will make a beaten path to his door. [Ralph Emerson]

    Hey there Gryn

Every time I come here I find you doing something new.
The one question with this one is .... Where are the rhinestones?
Seriously did you do these sims or are they from somewhere else?

    Cheers

Maybe I should slow down on the coffee consumption...

The 2 videos you saw were mine, yes. Rhinestones? No, just chrome on every thing like a Rolls Royce.

The Coney Island Cyclone and the Goofing around are sims that I built and posted to the site to test it out and get it started. Roller Coaster sims is yet another of my numerous hobbies, like I don't already have enough on my plate.

I just ordered FRAPS so that I can build more awesome coaster sims and film them. I was using HyperCam to do it, but that won't copy the sound since my sound card lacks the drivers for that (and no, sound mix does not have "record what you hear"...it's a conspiracy I tell you, sound card makers are probably being bullied by the recording industry so that they leave this option out of newer sound cards). So, I'll be building more coaster sims. I'll also be re-filming the Coney Island Cyclone since the original is really crappy.

Got any particular kind of coaster that you like to ride? I'll make you one.

I've never been on a roller coaster in my life Gryn.
Why would I want to scare myself spit-less - I think that there's only one in the whole of the country I live in anyway.
OK so its just down the road a ways but that's not tempting to me at all.

I have this thing about Terra Firma - the more firmer, the less terror.
I'm impressed with the sims tho'

    Cheers

My sister forced me to go on the Coney Island Cyclone when I was a kid. Of all the things big sisters can do, I am grateful for that one.

I was terrified the first time, but went for a second round right after that. I been on it many, many times since then. I was there when the first world record was held for riding it, my sister and I went to watch him.

My dream is to go to Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio and ride all the coasters till I puke, pass out or can't stand up anymore, which ever comes first.

I haven't been to Cedar Point in probably 15 years. They always had the biggest, baddest coasters around though. If I had any way of making one of these, I'd definitely upload for you. Since I don't, I'll just enjoy watching.

It takes a coaster sim program like NoLimits, Scream Machines or Ultimate Ride Coaster Deluxe, RollerCoaster Tycoon and others...The latter 2 can probably be found on ebay. The easiest one I found to use is Ultimate Ride Coaster Deluxe. The other 2 you get by download from their site. NoLimits is good IMHO but I like Ultimate Ride the best for building. Then you use FRAPS to record your rides. FRAPS is purchased thru download also.
