Default Emails sent on video upload

    Hello,

Is there a way to disable the email automativally sent to the user who uploaded the video. I want to disable this for two reasons. Firstly, there is an error in the email subject line, where a space is not left between the video name and the rest of the email subject text (an example is "Your Video testUploaded to mywebsite.com") - no space between the video name "test" and the rest of the subject line text. Secondly, the sender of the email is "Nobody"... and this does not look good. i would simply like to prevent these emails from firing at all. I have found the email templates, but these do not appear to be part of this.

    Any input is appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Scott.

If you look under System Settings, there is an option for "Notify Upload". Have you tried to disable this?

I think the "notify upload" is for admin notification, like when new videos are added to the site, admin receives an email alerting them to the upload. In Miscellaneous settings there's a spot for "Notify user after processing"...I think that's the setting that emails people after they upload?
If it's not fun, stop doing it!

    Hi guys,

Yeah I tried the setting under System Settings, and grynmoors you are right about this being for the email fired off to admin when a video is uploaded. I have changed the setting in Miscellaneous as you suggested and I think this has done the trick.

    Thanks for your help,

    Scott.
