audio/video synchronization

With my site the audio and video are never in synchronization. Can anyone explain why?

try to google "audio video synchronization"...it might have to do with codecs not being compatible as described in this one article I found:

Yeah but the original files are ok, that link just talks about on your computer. Once they get converted they become out of sync.

Maybe it's the codecs on the server where they're being converted...
