Video Search in version 2.6

I've seen some other complaints about the search function in 2.6, but my specific problem hasn't been mentioned yet. When I search a word in search videos, it ends up giving me only the tags that contain the search term. In 2.5, it would also allow for that search term to be in the title or the description, not just the tags. I'm not sure if this is how it is for everyone, or if this is specific to me. If it is specific to me, does anyone have any idea what is going wrong. I uploaded all the files (I believe) for 2.6, so I'm not sure what the problem is.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any chance you could send out a repair file? It's pretty annoying that the search result is blank when you search for the title of one of my videos.

I ended up going back to the old video search, and it's working just fine now. I just put back the search.php and search.tpl files I had backed up from 2.4 and then replaced the new search code with the old search code. (also, make sure you erase the search_box.tpl file). I guess that'll have to do until 2.7 comes out.

Could you link or email those files? I bought vshare 2.5 and there is no way to solve the problem with that version. We need the file from 2.4 release...

Yes, I am also interested in obtaining the search.php. search.tpl and the code to replace from 2.4
