Aparantly it was...if you read my entire post you'll see where I said that I answered my own question: This script will not work without a "regular" domain.

I think you were totally right...I had all the settings correct but as soon as I changed the default host directories with the domain name, it worked instantly. Two handed applause from me! :)

I think this vshare script has soooo many flaws. I followed instructions step by step and this problem
sure it does have flaws but they get fixed....most problems reported are user error...like yours....you most likley you need to upload the .htaccess file.Originally Posted by chrisgoh1

The file is in your vshare zip file....just upload it to your root vshare folder with your ftp client like you did with the other vshare files
