ok all i have done is extracted the files into the public_htm folder using bianary. I am hosting with hostonnet.com. what do i need to do.

You say BINARY... can you tell me how to set your FTP client program to upload in BINARY MODE ?

Default mode of most FTP client will be ASCII or AUTO.

ok i use flashfxp so i went to options -> preferences -> transfer -> then clicked binary

That is correct. But the error you are getting is because you have not uploded in binary mode.

Anyway try one more upload. Connect to your FTP server, then set

FTP menu > Transfer Mode > Binary

Now upload all files again and overwrite existing files and see if that works.
